RiNo Art District champions the arts by providing affordable creative space, supporting local artists, and offering educational programming, events, and experiences for all ages and backgrounds.
RiNo Art District's programs have evolved as the district has grown, focusing on empowering community artists, and providing access to education and promotion. These programs, accessible to RiNo Art District's approximately 400 artists as well as artists and makers in the greater Denver area, include:
- RAD Studios - subsidized artist studios in the Backyard on Blake and at the ArtPark
- RiNo Public Art Program - funding art throughout the five historic neighborhoods.
- RiNo Made Pop-Ups - temporal artist residencies in vacant buildings in the district
- Promotion of RiNo Art District artists, makers, and small businesses
- Artist talks, panels, and skills-based learning
- Advocacy for artists, creatives, and small businesses at the City and State level
These programs are tailored through community input and serve the many artists, makers, and creatives that live and work in the area, as well as provide leadership to emerging artists who are trying to get a foothold in the larger Denver art community.
